ABOUT NYOBS

NYOBS is a queer noise-goth band from New York City. Their sounds are carefully improvised assemblages: always fresh and never flat.

NYOBS debuted at Make Music New York's on June 21, 2014. They played at Punk Island (AKA Staten Island) on the Redletters stage located at the end of a pier that they shared with several fishermen, cops, and a porta-potty that they used to change into their low-effort drag.

NYOBS has since performed at the Whitney, Mercury Lounge, the Poetry Project, La Mama, and many other institutions, renowned and obscure.
